Natural Sensuality: Weston teacher and counselor Jaqueline Lapa
Sussman will discuss the new paperback edition of her book "Images
Of Desire: A Return To Natural Sensuality" at the Ferguson
Library in Stamford on Jan. 22 at 7 p.m.
The book is designed to encourage readers to move beyond the
sensual images promoted by movies, television and magazines in
order to unlock their own "natural sensuality".
Sussman is a practicioner of "Eidetic Imagery" a process
she describes as a unique and transformative mind/body technique...
a powerful holistic system that allows an individual to recall
personal symbolic images formed by past experiences.
Sussman believes that by tapping into these images a person can
produce "a physiological response that quickly generates
shifts in perspective offering insight into unrealized inner abilities."
The author has spent 20 years as the protege of Akhter Ahsen,
the founder and developer of eidetics.
Sussman conducts workshops throughout the United States and abroad
and is the director of projects for the International Imagery
Association.
The author is also the editor of Imagery Today, the
international newsletter covering the imagery movement.
Sussman's presentation at the Ferguson Library, which is at the
corner of Broad and Bedford streets in downtown Stamford, is free
and open to the public.
