Images of the Heart
The heart is the most important organ in the human body, responsible for circulating blood and nourishing the entire system. Current perspectives on the heart view it as a mechanical pump, which needs to be maintained through medication, diet and exercise. What is missing, however, is the understanding, which addresses the essence, or feeling within the heart.
The current field of psychoneuroimmunology has found that body and mind share one continuous flow of chemical and neural signals. In this way, it has been scientifically proven that one’s thoughts and emotions directly impact the physical health of the heart impacting one’s emotions, attitudes and perceptions. It has been found that negative perspectives constrict the heart, resulting in depression, anxiety, and fear, while positive states of mind, such as joy, love, and optimism keep one’s heart robust and allow for greater vision, creativity and vast imagination.
Working with images of one’s heart is key to bringing positive states of mind and energy. When the heart is full, one’s passion, feelings of abundance and wisdom are made readily available. In keeping with this view, various ancient spiritual traditions see the heart as an organ containing an essence of light and wisdom. These ancient teaching reveal that by igniting our hearts, we infuse all that we do with love, coherent action, and the wisdom to positively influence others. Overview
Eidetic images are bright, lively pictures seen in the mind, much like movie images or photographs. These special images are neurologically recorded in the brain and systematically stored for future reference. When recalled, eidetic images recreate a vivid experience of life events with clarity and detail. In doing so, they pinpoint areas of weakness and strength in the psyche. The Eidetic method is a precise and positive technique that accesses problem areas quickly to generate change, promoting insight and growth while allowing people to access their inner strength and resources that restore health and wellbeing.
